Read recent reviews about the EdWel PMP boot camp here. EdWel has trained thousands of students of which 99% have gone on to successfully pass the PMP exam (Out of 100 students randomly surveyed, 99 passed the certification exam).
My Edwel boot camp was excellent. I leveraged the course as somewhat of a capstone to my preparation period. I took the exam the very next day after the boot camp ended, and passed.
As designed, the course moves at a pretty fast pace, but our instructor Mark McGreevy did an excellent job at putting the concepts into context. I feel that his learning tools and techniques were invaluable and provided me with new methods of organizing and retaining key information from the PMBOK.
Additionally, the Edwel course book is excellent and contains several hundred sample exam questions to aid in your study. These questions are not gimmes. The are tough and will prepare you well.
I would like to thank Myra Baskerville with the Edwel PMP bootcamp program. I attended the course in late January (and may I add during a blizzard in Boston) and sat for the PMP exam that Friday, and PASSED! I had prepared well for the course and I also utilized the materials provided by Edwel, which I received when I registered for the course. I found that the material provided during the course and the witty tips provided by Myra really gave me that additional level of understanding that assisted me with passing the exam on my first try. I wanted to give a big thank you to Myra for sticking through the blizzard with us and for a great training session.
I would also recommend the EdWel PMP bootcamp. I recently attended,
December 2014, and passed the exam in January 2015. I did a significant
amount of self-study prior to attending the bootcamp and I believe that
helped me to get the most out of the four days of bootcamp training. I
found the methodology of EdWel, and my instructor Mark McGreevy, to be
on the money. Again, thank you Mike Welles, Mark McGreevy and the
entire EdWel team!
I took the PMP exam last Friday and passed. My road was not a smooth one (string of bad luck with the hotel disposing of my class notes, and then being selected for the random PMI audit), but Mike Welles and others at EdWel supported me through the trials and tribulations, responding quickly to my calls and offering advice when needed. The exam was challenging, and without a program like EdWel's, which really teaches you how to approach the exam, I would not have passed.
I just took Edwel's PMP Bootcamp in Columbia, MD last week (15-18 September) and passed the PMP Exam the next day (19 September). I am proof that you can take the bootcamp for four days and pass the exam on the fifth day. Just make sure you read a few chapters from the PMBOK prior to the class and ask questions when you do not understand something. My instructor, Mark McGreevey, was an excellent instructor. He gave the class many tips to remember the material and things to look out for that often confuse individuals taking the test. You too can pass the first time.
I took the Edwel course last week and sat for the exam Tuesday, and passed! Big thanks to the folks at Edwel for making sure I got into a class that worked with my schedule. Also hats off to our instructor Myra Baskerville for relaying a lot of important information in the Exam Prep class, in a short amount of time.Edwel helped me pass the PMP. The Edwel instructor, Mark Tolbert, was a knowledge mine and possessed a solid understanding of the concepts and material which I benefited from. Passing the PMP demands initiative, focus, and commitment. Edwel was there along the way and helped to drive it home.
The Edwel Bootcamp is an absolute must. I took the Bootcamp in Houston TX last Monday thru' Thursday and I passed my PMP, on my first attempt, on Friday afternoon.
My instructor, Myra Baskerville, was amazing! Lets face it, a lot of the subject matter that we were dealing with is somewhat ‘dry’ but she managed to make interesting and dare I say it, fun!
The Edwel course companion book also broke the material down into manageable chunks so I could assimilate the information in a relatively short space of time.
The Bootcamp is fast paced but if you keep up with your reading and follow your instructor's guidance, you will pass.
The Edwel Bootcamp is the way to go. Be warned - it's intense, and lasts all day, with little time for detours. Like many posting on this topic, I found it the best way to get focused and set up a game plan for actually taking the exam.
I will recommend Edwel program for many reasons; one of them being the structure and the length of the PMP Bootcamp. For your information, it is seriously a bootcamp.I highly recommend Edwel's PMP Boot Camp. I passed the PMP exam on the first try (with a "Proficient" score in all 5 areas) thanks largely to their Boot Camp.
I would highly recommend Edwel programs to anyone planning to sit for the PMP exam!
I'm convinced that there is NO WAY that I would have been able to pass my PMP exam (on the first try I might add) without the Boot Camp that I took through EdWel.
Edwel was helpful from the point of my initial inquiry, through to pre-class preparation, PMP application processing and has even offered the new version of the PMP companion guide.Edwel is a MUST boot camp for any aspiring PMP. Great company, great instructors, and all materials are at your fingertips for success.I am happy to state that I did pass the PMP exam on the first try, three days after the class ended. I know that I would have failed miserably had I not taken the boot camp by Edwel.Maybe I can help. I have just passed PMI PMP certification exam on the first try!The investment for this boot camp was well worth the cost and has already proven to be very beneficial to my company, to my family, and to me. Thanks to Edwel, my instructor, my classmates, my family, and my employer for giving me one week to do this and for helping me prepare and pass the PMP!
